Australian Rugby League

The Australian Rugby League was originally known as the Australian Rugby League Board of Control. It is responsible for the game across Australia outside of the NRL competition, although the Australian Rugby League is a 50% partner in the NRL along with News Limited.

The ARL manages and chooses Australia's Test team and is a member of the International Rugby League. The ARL ran the main Rugby League competition from 1995 to 1997, after taking over from the NSWRL when Auckland, Perth, South Queensland and North Queensland first entered teams.

The Australian Rugby League presently does not have an official web site, but we are sure you can find much information on rugby league across Australia and internationally here at RL1908 - The Rugby League Hall Of Fame
